What Types of events are offered?

Beshert 40s-50s social club offers a variety of fun, interesting and worthwhile events for singles who are in their 40’s and 50’s. Singles enjoy fine or ethnic dining, theater outings, book and movie discussions, dancing and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, sailing or kayaking. The list of activities constantly evolve so you will never get bored. As a club member, you will have an opportunity to suggest an event or even form a special interest group of like singles who may share your hobby, such as playing bridge or having a political discussion.

What are the benefits for joining the Beshert 40s-50s Social Club?

Improving your quality of life. Wouldn't it be great to have something to look forward to each week such as lunch or dinner, shows, music concerts or something as simple as going to the movie, an investment club meeting, or hiking with a group of contemporaries?

Meet people your own age. Since the club only invites members who are in their 40's and 50's, you will feel more comfortable spending time with Jewish professionals without the worry that someone you meet at an event is either too old or too young.

Each member will be pre-screened. We meet each and every member personally to make sure the Beshert Social Club will be a good fit. And only club members (and occasionally their guests) are allowed to attend club events.

Group and other discounts. Members are eligible for theater and show group discounts ? and you are charged what the venue charges Beshert ? there are no extra fees.

High quality events. Membership fees allow us to invite higher profile personalities, professional event facilitators, obtain more reasonable group rates, and find events that are often unknown to the general public.

Community of friends. Make new friends, enjoy your favorite activities or discover new interests, and meet others that you can relate to. It's not unusual for older singles to feel lonely or isolated. Joining the club and attending our events will expand your social circle and your enhance your interests.

Where do the events take place?

Both Chicago and its' suburbs offer a world of options such as great restaurants and music clubs. Of course, downtown Chicago has more to offer such as the symphony, Broadway shows, and museums. Therefore, many of our cultural events will take place in Chicago. However, don’t forget about the Northshore theater in Skokie (across from Old Orchard), Marriott Theater in Lincolnshire and Ravinia in Highland Park that all offer excellent performances. Wherever something worthwhile is happening, the Beshert Social Club is there.

Membership Fee

$300 per year (or twelve months). Beshert offers you a $50 referral fee for each member you bring in who purchases a 12-month membership. The reason we do this is because we are committed to bringing more quality singles to our club and therefore encourage you to help us “recruit.” The more singles who join the club means more possibilities for you (and others) to meet that special person.
